The last two!

Have been looking back over previous posts to see when I started the Dutch Auction and couldn’t believe it was back in May – where does the time go! I started with six drawings and almost five months later, four have gone to good homes and we’re now down to the last two. So if you’ve been following, and are interested, this could be your last chance to get an original drawing at a great price. ‘Focused’ is now down to £100 and ‘Inquiring Mind’, £110. Both drawings are double-mounted ready to frame. If you would like more details on either drawing or are interested in purchasing then please email me.

Lovely work! I just found you! (am new to the blogging thing!) But I must ask... what surface do you like to work on?

You animal portraits are so lovely, realistic and soft…I fill the softness of their fur.

Hi Debi and welcome to my blog:) I thought I recognised your name - have seen your work on FB and love it! I'm a big fan of Fabriano Artistico hp watercolour paper and have used this for years. Always come back to this paper. I'm looking for a whiter paper however and trying the Fabriano 5 which so far I'm happy with.

Hi Sandra and thank you:)

Thanks Laura! I love that you keep the white background... very brave of you!! :) I have done this on ocassion with a few gouache pieces... but I am just too messy! And sometimes the white can be a bit un-nerving for me... don't quite know why... maybe its the fear of making a mess!!! :) You will have to check out my blog sometime... started it about a year ago. Its still getting it wings! Again... your work is wonderful!

I do like a white background and feel nervous if I need to put one in for whatever reason - it never ends up looking quite right in my eyes. Probably because I'm so used to my work being on a plain background:-D

Will definately be checking out your blog now I know you have one:)
