Flea

Still working away on Flea and hope to have her finished over the next few days. I have another couple of portraits to do after this and then I am not entirely sure where my life will take me artistically after that. Without going into detail, I have had to change things in my life and there is a lot I will need to consider and think about in the coming months, especially with my art. I therefore won’t be accepting any more commissions until October/November 2012 and thought I should really mention this now on my blog as I’ve been getting a number of enquiries. My website will be updated too as soon as I can sort out a publishing problem I’m having with it. Feel quite emotional after that!

Running behind again with Dutch Auction news, sorry, but hopefully you will know how it works despite my failure to keep you updated on time. There are three drawings left, all at greatly reduced prices and with a further £20 off this week - they are ‘Focused’ (£120), ‘Inquiring Mind’ (£130) and ‘Eye Contact’ (£65). This is the last chance you will get to purchase ‘Eye Contact’ (below) at this price as next week it will be removed from the auction and remain on my website at the original price of £225.

Hope you won't be away from art for too long Laura. Your drawings are so inspirational.

Stepson's motorbike accident and then my spine/trapped nerve problem really had a huge impact on my plans for nearly 18 months so I know how frustrating it is when life throws unexpected stuff at you.

I hope everything works out as you'd wish and we'll see lots from you soon.

Flea is looking so sweet and Eye contact looks like his (?) face is popping right off the page. Your drawings are amazing and best of luck to you in the coming year. Wishing you the best in your life.

Life is a journey and sometimes things have to change. The key is letting it happen and doing your best to follow the twists and turns. I love your work and look forward to seeing more in the future.

Hi Sue and thank you. Really don't know what will happen if I'm honest but I'm sure I will produce a drawing or two at some point:) x

Thank you Kendra, that means a lot to me x

Hi Dawn and thank you for your kind words, they are much appreciated. Fingers crossed you don't have to wait much longer for Morgan x

Thank you Jeanne x

Hi Liz, thank you for taking the time to comment on my blog - delighted you are happy with how Flea is progressing. Didn't know you had another member to the family and would be more than happy to do his/her portrait should you ever decide to do so in the future - hope you don't mind waiting:)
